WHAT TO BRING TO THE EXAM ROOM
** Some colleges and universities use Social Security numbers as student identifiers when assigning AP credit or advanced placement for qualifying AP scores. While the College Board does not require you to provide your Social Security number, you may want to check with the college or university where you are sending scores to see if they prefer that you provide a Social Security number on your AP Exam answer sheet.
WHAT NOT TO BRING TO THE EXAM
If so, then I have an offer for you! . . . . . .Advanced Math Prep Classes!
Students who are taking Algebra 2, Honors-Pre-Calculus or AB Calculus are encouraged to sign-up for any or all of the offered courses to help prepare you for next year!
All of the classes are Pass/No pass so the will not affect your GPA and you will earn 1 credit for each class!
If you are interested in any of the courses read the attachment provided below. You can read descriptions of these 4 courses being offered in more detail. Then complete and turn-in a COHS summer school application form (available on schoolloop) by May 6th.

JUNIORS! Do you plan to go to a 4-year college after you graduate next year? Then you must take at least one college entrance exam. Scores from both the SAT and ACT are accepted at colleges nationwide.
Please Note: Test scores are usually available within 30 days of taking an exam. With test scores in hand, do research on the colleges you are interested in. College Board has a fantastic website with information on more than 3,000 colleges, including GPA and Test Score averages for admitted students. Check it out at: https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/
If you feel your test scores need improvement, study over the summer break and take the SAT and ACT again in Fall 2016.

SAC COUNTY'S OUTSTANDING TEEN NIKI HOLBROOK PROMOTES the CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK!
Read what she has to say . . . .
My name is Nikki Holbrook and I need your help by donating money to the Children's Miracle Network. I am a junior at COHS and was recently crowned as the 2016 Miss Sacramento County's Outstanding Teen. In June I will compete in the Miss California Outstanding Teen scholarship pageant which is part of the Miss America organization.
The Miss America organization supports the Children's Miracle Network and all contestants are asked to raise at least $500 which will be presented to the Network at the pageant. The Children's Miracle Network uses donations to provide medical care and related equipment to needy children in local communities. If you are able, please make a tax deductible donation in my name toward this noteworthy cause.
Thank you, Nikki! . . . .
